  1. What is Team Yachad?

Team Yachad will be “running hand in hand” in Camp Mesorah’s Grit ‘N Wit Run on July 21, 2021.  Yachad, the National Jewish Council for Disabilities (NJCD) is dedicated to addressing the needs of all individuals with disabilities and including them in the Jewish community. All monies raised will go directly to enhance the Yachad experience at Camp Mesorah.

  2. What is a Grit ‘N Wit Run?

The Grit ‘N Wit Run is for those looking to have a good time. It’s not about your time; not about being competitive; not about winning… it’s about having a great time with your friends and raising money.

  3. What do I have to do to be part of Team Mesorah Yachad?

Simply register and choose the division and team you are a part of! Then you can get started on your fundraising and training!

  4. I never run. Will I be able to finish the 5K race?

HA! Of course you will!  It’s only 3.1 miles and even slower walkers should have no problem walking the course in less than 50 minutes.  Whether you are a first time runner or an experienced one, running with Team Mesorah Yachad in The Grit ‘N Wit Run is all about having a good time

  5. I am concerned that I might not be able to raise the required funds. Will I be able to do it?

Even if you’ve never raised money before, simply explaining to your friends and family what you are doing and why you are doing it, should ensure that you are going to surpass your fundraising goal.  Since there is no fundraising minimum, please select your goal with an amount you feel you could reach.  Yachad is a worthwhile organization and our runners are enthusiastic about its mission. You will be surprised how friends, family, and co-workers will respond to your effort to run, walk or even crawl for the 3.1 miles to help this wonderful cause.

  6. I got an email letting me know I was sponsored. When I went to my personalized page on Team Yachad’s website, I didn’t see the donation listed. What’s going on?

What happened is that one of your donors made a pledge towards your fundraising goal.  Once the check is received by Team Yachad, the amount and donation will be listed on your personalized page.

  7. How can my sponsors submit payment?

Online contributions can be made by credit card on the runner’s personalized page found on our website www.mesorah/teamyachad.com.Checks should be pledged online through the runners personalized page and then mailed to Team Mesorah Yachad, Attn.
